Reposting from Pac Sun's Instagram! Have a great weekend guys!

Sophisticated Yet Trendy

Blazer from Gap on sale for $41.00!
Hey guys! So I have fallen in love with something new and that is... BLAZERS. They are versatile, very sophisticated, but they are trendy at the same time because of their fitted structure. I have seen more and more blazers on TV shows like The Fosters (Lena's blazers are amazing!) and Pretty Little Liars. I also see them a lot in magazines on the street (paired with boyfriend jeans- my fav look). I highly recommend blazers because they are perfect for the night wear, casual wear, day wear, work, school, summer, fall etc!I'm actually looking for one right now for my trip to the east coast! I found some cute blazers and looks that are affordable and accommodate to many different tastes.
Candice Swanepoel makes anything look amazing but I really love how she paired this fitted simple black blazer with boyfriend jeans. It is a very laid back outfit but her leopard print shoes really makes the outfit stand out. Candice has great fashion sense. This outfit is amazing.
So I got the idea to blog about blazers when I found this blazer. I think this would be really cute for back to school because the print stands out. I just love the bold print so much and with the fitted structure and the cinched sleeves, its still sophisticated. This blazer is from Love Culture.
Lena from The Fosters! (my new favorite TV show on ABC Family!) Her blazer on the far right is Anthropologie's Tonal Knit Blazer. She has the most creative blazers on this show, I love it! She shows how blazers can be worn for any time of the day (casual, dressy, and work)
Found this at Love Culture too! It's not as wild as the polka dots. I would say this blazer is more me. I love the print because it is black and white which means I can wear a white top or a bright vibrant top. Super cute. I like the Love Culture has unique prints on their blazers this season!
For the woman that are looking for the essential black blazer to go with basically anything.
This blazer is from Charlotte Russe for only $23.00!
Both of these wonderful ladies wearing a crisp white blazer. Miranda Kerr dressed her blazer up for a day out with her baby boy. The white blazer is versatile as you can tell she pairs it with a yellow pleated skirt and red shoes. Just perfect. Look how cute her baby boy is!
This is my favorite blazer that I found! I love the structure of the jacket. The front of the jacket makes it different which is also figure flattering as I have experienced before. I always love red jackets because whenever I see red it just stands out to me. If you are looking for a blazer to turn heads this is definitely the one. Lastly, the cuffs of the sleeves are my favorite. This touch makes the blazer unique. Those little touches always count. It's like pockets in a dress or super cute lining in a purse.
This blazer is on sale for $35 at Piperlime!

PAC SUN

Hey guys! So I had my first day of work at Pac Sun today! It's a lot to learn but I really love the atmosphere and the people that I work with because they're all just as bubbly and talkative as me! For my interviews (I had two) I dressed how I usually would but I made sure it appealed to the Pac Sun's style. I also wore the brands that Pac Sun carries which wasn't too difficult because I LOVE Roxy! So I wanted to show you guys my interview outfits and my first day of work outfit. (by the way you can definitely tell I got a tan from first interview to first day of work! LOL!)
The first outfit I wanted to wear a dress with a bold print to be noticed because it was a group interview.
Dress: Roxy
This second outfit is hands down my favorite outfit in my closet right now. It's modest but shows my curves not making it too matronly and not racy. Then my crochet top just pairs great. You can't see in the picture but there is sparkles woven into the top (thats why I love it so much!). This outfit flatters my body that what I love most about it. I chose this outfit for my private interview because I knew this would be the yes or no interview and I really wanted to make an impact. This outfit [to me}stands out in a different way.
Top: Roxy
Maxi Skirt: Quicksilver Womens
My first day outfit is more laid back. I didn't want to look like I was trying too hard but I stilled wanted to show some of style. Right now I am addicted to pattern shorts so these shorts definitely show me. Plus the design is bubble gum pink. My favorite color.
Top: Roxy
Bottoms: Roxy

By they way if you guys  want to visit a Quicksilver store with GREAT customer service visit Quicksilver on Powell street in San Francisco!

DIY

DIY HIGH WAISTED SHORTS

So recently I have become obsessed with DIY high waisted shorts because I love the feeling I get after because I actually made something from an old piece of clothing and made it modern! I got the inspiration from Bethany Mota's (Macbarbie07)  Buy or DIY video on YouTube. I'll post the video at the bottom of this post. She made me fall in love with daisys and sunflowers too! You guys will see the obsession grow soon. These shorts are my first go at high waisted shorts. I think they came out pretty well.
My Materials:
Old jeans
Tweezers
Bleach
Material Cutting Scissors
Daisy's from the Ebay seller "angelnflyt" (4 dollars for a yard!)

I made that cut on the pocket by just cutting a straight line and pulling the threads with the tweezers like I did to the bottom of the shorts.
I didnt get a before picture but I did save this pocket that I ripped off the back. This was the color of the jeans. I used my mom's old Tommy Hilfiger jeans. I wish I would've gotten a picture of them because they flared out at the ends and ended at the ankle. They were hilarious. But basically what I did was:
1. Cut
2. Ripped the pockets off w/ a seam ripper
3. Took tweezers and frayed them
4. Bleached them
5. Frayed more!
6. Sewed on the daisy's

* Don't forget to watch Bethany's video to see how to make these shorts!

Post 4th of July Fav Outfits!

4th of July Faveys!

I just love fourth of July because of the fireworks [of course], but the best part for me is seeing the different patriotic outfits people put together. On the fourth of July whenever I signed into Instagram I was scrolling through so many cute outfits so I decided to post some of them. A few were celebs and others were my friends. So here they are!
This first outfit is my friend, Jenna's. She is a total fashionista. I love her outfit because everything works together. Her polka dotted crop top is so cute with her high waisted red sailor shorts. I just love those shorts so much because they are very nautical with their buttons (perfect for the 4th!). Her bright red lips go perfect with this outfit and definitely pop. Lastly, her high top converse are my favorite part! They add a  sporty cute look. Her outfit has so many meanings, thats why I love it!
Crop top: Pac Sun
Shorts: Together
SO CUTE. I found this outfit on Pinterest and I absolutely adore it. This outfit goes all out but isn't tacky and still is a little edgy. I am trying to make a high low skirt like this right now! I also LOVE this crop top! They are my new loves! Yay for DIY.
This is my bestfriend's outfit (picture is from her personal Instagram). I really love her high waisted shorts because the pockets show! Love it. Her crop top is perfect for these shorts because it shows a little bit of her tummy in a cute way! Then she tops it off with white converse. White converse are perfect for any occasion especially 4th of July! Nice job Hana! #MERICA
Shorts: American Eagle
Top: Forever 21
Shoes: Converse
Kendall Jenner's bathing suit is so cute! Its on my list to get an American flag bathing suit! Her high waisted shorts just go great with her bathing suit and body. We also can't forget about her American flag snapback that adds fun and a little tomboy to this outfit. I just love it. She looks like she had a fab 4th.
We can't forget about the kids?! This was probably my FAVORITE outfit I saw this fourth of July. Her pants looks adorbs on her, denim vest, her cute shoes that I hope come in my size somewhere, and I believe her flower crown possibly might be DIY? I follow  fashionkids on Instagram and this was taken from there. If you love toddler/ baby fashion as much as I do I highly recommend following this Instagram account! Also, if you want to see more of this adorable girl's outfits follow MISS_GABBY_13!
